International Day of Friendship at PPPSW

July 12, 2019

On July 30th, the United Nations recognizes International Day of Friendship. On this day, we strive for the simplest way to promote and defend shared spirit and human solidarity — friendship. The idea for this special day stems from the belief that unity of spirit will advance goals of stability, safety, and passion for a better world — all of which will help to achieve a greater good.

At PPPSW, we believe that unity and togetherness are cornerstones of our society. We believe in equal rights, care, and respect for all. Together, we can work to make the world a better and safer place.

In This Together

At PPPSW, we believe that we are in this together. We’re proud of our team and cherish the idea of individuals from diverse backgrounds coming together to make a difference toward the greater good. We are a team you can have fun with and a powerful movement you can be part of. Together we’ll take pride in shaping the future of sexual health and reproductive rights.

Bring a Friend

We trust in our community. Because of this, we have an External Clinician Referral Bonus Program where you can get rewarded with $3,000 for referring a great Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest! Refer a Clinician for a full-time position. If they get hired you will receive a $3,000 Employee Referral Bonus after they complete 6 months of employment. $200 bonus for other positions.

Share the opportunity to work for a mission-driven organization with a friend that strives to make our community a better place every day.

Make a Friend

We believe that working hard together can forge long-lasting friendships. As our team members work to promote safety and stability, they also meet like-minded people who share many of their same values.

According to Leslie, a clinician at one of our centers, said,

“Working for PPPSW gives me the opportunity to learn from a progressive health care organization, be myself, and learn from others who have similar values to me. I think there are a lot of young providers who want to be a part of something big, something that makes a difference in current politics on the grassroots level, and be proud of the work they do, the organization they serve, and the patients who they impact every day. Being a provider at PPPSW gives me all that.”

We’re excited that our team members are able to use the opportunity to make a difference to also find a support network of people with similar values!
