Trusted Voices, Proven Care: National Nurse Practitioner Week
During National Nurse Practitioner Week (Nov 9-15), PPPSW proudly recognizes our Nurse Practitioners and nursing staff for the expertise, leadership, and compassionate care they bring to our patients every single day. They provide compassionate support, essential health care, and trusted guidance that strengthens our communities.

Transgender Awareness Week
Transgender Awareness Week (Nov 13–19) is a time to uplift and honor trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive communities. We are grateful for the staff who provide gender-affirming care with dignity and respect, and who facilitate trustworthy patient-provider relationships , and create safe, welcoming spaces for every person who comes through our doors. Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is proud to provide inclusive sexual and reproductive health services to all of our patients. We strongly believe everyone deserves access to affirming and compassionate care.
Transgender Day of Remembrance and Resilience
On November 20th, we honor the lives of transgender people lost to anti-trans violence and join communities nationwide in remembering them. At PPPSW, we reaffirm our commitment to affirming, compassionate care—and remain committed to uplifting trans voices, and advocating for safety, dignity, and access to care for all.
Thanks, Birth Control Day
Thanks, Birth Control Day (Nov 12) celebrates the power of birth control to help people shape their futures, pursue their goals, and make decisions that are right for their lives. At PPPSW, we honor the providers, educators, and advocates who ensure patients have access to the full range of contraceptive options and information they need. From counseling and prescriptions to education and outreach, our teams support reproductive freedom and wellness every day.
